God’s Design for Your Voice
Jeff mathena
Discover the connection between vocal transformation and spiritual formation. In this session, we’ll explore how the design of your voice reflects God’s intentionality—physically, spiritually, and prophetically. Using the framework of Revelation, Response, and Reign, we’ll uncover how belief shapes sound and how your voice is meant to carry both identity and authority.
Key Takeaways:
1. Your voice was intentionally designed by God to carry both identity and authority.
2. Most vocal struggles aren’t due to lack of talent, but a lack of clear, accurate understanding of how the voice actually works.
3. When you respond to God’s revelation with your voice, you partner with Him to release His reign on the earth.
Jeff Mathena is a vocal coach, speaker, and founder of The Unhindered Voice, a platform devoted to helping singers in the Church discover freedom in their sound and boldness in their calling. Known for his unique blend of technical mastery and spiritual insight, Jeff has coached many of today’s most influential artists, including Kari Jobe, Phil Wickham, Elevation Worship, Bethel Music, and For King & Country.
More than just a coach, Jeff is a prophetic voice to worshippers, equipping them not only to sing with excellence, but to carry the weight of God’s presence through their voice. He has served as vocal faculty for Bethel Music College and continues to partner with ministries that are raising up the next generation of anointed voices.
Whether leading a coaching session or speaking into identity and purpose, Jeff is passionate about helping believers sing with clarity, conviction, and joy. He lives in Fort Worth, Texas, with his wife and children, where he leads a thriving online community of worshippers through The Unhindered Voice.

Why Your “Moments” Don’t Matter (…Unless They Lead to This)
Brian Taylor
Most of us were handed a ministry without a manual, just the pressure to produce. We all love a mountaintop experience, but it’s easy to confuse what looks powerful with what actually is powerful. You can plan the perfect set, create a soaring moment, and still miss the point. This session will help you cut through the noise, name what’s getting in the way, and step into what you’re truly called to lead and build.
Key Takeaways:
1. Clarify the deeper mission of a worship leader.
2. Identify four core disruptors that are silently sabotaging your leadership.
3. Learn practical solutions to stay grounded, focused, and effective.
Brian Taylor has served and equipped the local church for over 20 years. His background spans various denominations, cultures, and settings as he has led worship ministries in churches of a few hundred to over 30,000 across multiple locations. As a worship and creative pastor, he loves creating worship environments that are transformational and engaging. As a member of senior leadership teams, his mission has been to help clarify vision and strategy, cultivate healthy team culture, and develop strong leaders. As an executive coach and speaker, he is passionate about helping high-performing leaders ditch discontent, maximize potential, and align their performance with their purpose.
Brian and his wife, Lauren, live just north of Dallas, Texas, where they live with their two beautiful kids (five, if you count their two dogs and one cat, as Brian does). They’ve had the opportunity to lead worship and invest in teams together across the country. Brian also serves as Vice President of Slingshot Group’s Worship & Creative Arts division, leading a stellar team helping churches build healthy teams across the country in Worship, Production, and Digital/Communications.

Keys for Building Healthy and Effective Worship Teams
Brandon Premo
Too often, worship teams are built on borrowed models that don’t fit the unique culture, people, or pace of their local church. This workshop is for worship leaders who want to lead thriving, unified teams, not just musically excellent ones. Whether you’re navigating the demands of multiple ministries, leading volunteers with different levels of commitment, or trying to grow a team that’s spiritually deep and practically sharp. This session we will talk through and ask the right questions to help you reframe how you lead your teams. You’ll learn how to establish life-giving rhythms, define what truly matters for your team, and create systems that help you move forward and not just survive Sunday to Sunday.
Key Takeaways:
– Learn how to build weekly and monthly rhythms for rehearsal, planning, and spiritual growth that fit your church.
– Gain tools to help define what excellence and purpose look like for your specific context.
– Discover how to evaluate and grow your team (and yourself) in practical, healthy, and sustainable ways.
